MANAGEMENT AND PREPARATION OF A PREFEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE RESTART OF AN UNDERGROUND IRON ORE MINE:

A prefeasibility study was completed for the restart of a 1.5 million ton per year underground iron ore mine located in the United States.  The proposed mine was a refurbishment and restart of a former iron ore pellet producing property as a specialty  magnetite producer.  Project work included underground infrastructure refurbishment, underground mine planning and scheduling, metallurgical circuit design, resource review (including converting historic reserves to current resources), infrastructure requirements, mine dewatering, potential by product production and financial modeling.
